Miller Maxwell has been approached by US based proprietary trading house expanding into the European markets, who are searching for a Trading System Support Specialist to join their expanding team. The proprietary trading house was established in 2000 and is at the forefront quantitative trading across global financial markets and due to success and growth of the company, they urgently require a specialist in their field Trading System Support Specialist. The Trading Systems Support Specialist will join an expanding front-office technical support team specialising in Trading Systems Support. This is an outstanding opportunity for a specialist Trading Systems Support Analyst to join a highly profitable Proprietary Trading House specialising in Low Latency High Frequency Trading Platforms.

The Trading Systems Support Specialist will: 

• ·Work directly with traders on the trade floor 
• Provide level one and two support to in house production systems 
• Contribute towards the implementation and design of the company’s support system to enhance reliability 
• Contribute to architecture and development solutions 
• Perform and report daily checks of in house systems 
• Serve as the direct technical support for traders and exchangers 
• Be available for afterhours coverage 

The Trading Systems Support Specialist will need: 

• 5+ Years working in a Trade Floor Environment
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience 
• Scripting skills (Python or Perl)
• Strong Linux Knowledge
• SQL and Database knowledge 
• Experience with Java 
• Problem-Solving Capabilities 
• Ability to multi task in fast paced environment 
• Excellent Communication Skills
