DevOps Engineer – FinTech - Chef - Puppet - Powershell - London. Miller Maxwell has partnered with a leading provider of financial data services including data management, pricing and modelling as they expand their technical delivery team they wish to hire two experienced Systems Administrator – DevOps Engineer. Their innovative cloud platform delivers real-time quantitative data and pricing data in a real-time live environment so expanding their ability to automate processes is imperative and the Systems Administrator – DevOps Engineer will be a key to this products expansion.

The DevOps Engineer will:

• Work as part of an Agile engineering team
• Manage deployment of software applications
• Write, implement and support automation scripts
• Maintenance of server infrastructure
• Support cloud-based hosted applications
• Setup and support cloud based test server environment
• Administration of bespoke software applications
• Monitor system health – use sophisticated techniques to resolve errors and outages

The DevOps Engineer will need to have:

• Solid Chef or Puppet experience
• Experience using PowerShell
• Proficient Windows experience
• Experience working with Linux servers – beneficial
• Cloud infrastructure experience – highly desirable
• VMWare / Virtualisation experience

DevOps Engineer will have the opportunity to work as part of a highly experience, new and expanding team where the adoption of new/innovative technology is growing day-on-day and the Systems Administrator – DevOps Engineer will be able to introduce, research and contribute of this already exciting technology stack.
