Infrastructure Support Engineer – Opportunity for Infrastructure Support Engineer with a passion for Cloud technology to gain further experience of Azure / AWS. The client is a disruptive supplier of real-time trading solutions to buy-side and sell-side institutions on a global basis. They have gained recognition for technology investment and reliability of their real-time trading products.

The Infrastructure Support Engineer will:

Maintain and build expanding infrastructure environment
Support Servers in a live production environment
Contribute to Cloud based projects
Support security systems – Cisco firewalls, anti-virus software
Provide basic network support
Installation, configuration and troubleshooting Windows/Linux based environments
Active Directory administration and maintenance
Manage / monitor all systems installed on infrastructure

The Infrastructure Solutions Engineer will need to have:

At least 3 years infrastructure support experience
2nd line support experience
Worked within Windows or Linux environments
Experience with network technologies
Experience with Active Directory
Scripting experience – Powershell – desirable
Experience within cloud environments – AWS/Azure – desirable.

The Infrastructure Support Engineer will gain experience working within ITIL environment, gain experience with financial software tools such as FIX Protocol and Swift as well as working with Azure and AWS Technology.
