Principle DevOps Engineer – Linux – Python – Bash – Docker – Jenkins - Jira - Global brokerage that is an innovator at the forefront of technology automation within the real-time trading space seeks to expand the automation engineering team. Based in the City of London they seek to hire a Principle DevOps Engineer to assist with implementation and delivery of software development releases working closely with support, development and QA teams. The Principle DevOps Engineers goal is improving speed, efficiency and ability to outperform competitors with latency of trading via automation of process.

The Principle DevOps Engineer will:

• Work as part of an Agile engineering team
• Leading projects and bringing them to life
• Oversea maintenance of infrastructure working with Sys Admin and Trade support teams
• Manage deployment of software
• Write, implement and support automation scripts
• Maintenance of server infrastructure
• Setup and support cloud based test server environments
• Monitor system health – use sophisticated techniques to resolve errors and outages

The Principle DevOps Engineer will have:

• Proven experience working within a DevOps environment
• Excellent Linux experience
• Scripting experience; Python Bash
• Jira
• Jenkins
• Docker
• Git
• Understanding of Java or C++
• Solid experience of networking protocols such as; TCP, UDP, Multicasting
• Solid IT security experience
