An Application Support Analyst is required to support low-latency trading platform, working both internally and externally for this highly reputable, technology driven Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) from their London office. The role will give the Application Support Analyst exposure to low-latency trading, market data, order management and exposure to working with automation tools. The MTF invests significantly in technology innovation, is renowned for investment in staff and believes in promotion from within the business.

The Application Support Analyst will:

• Resolve technical issues by internal and external clients
• Monitor trading platform, underlying infrastructure environment and exchange connections
• Identify and resolve implementation issues
• Work with software engineering teams to improve latency
• Write basic scripts using tools such as Bash, Shell, Perl or Python
• Linux operation system support
• Be involved in a number of high profile projects taking place in 2018

  The Application Support Analyst will have:

• A degree in a STEM discipline
• At least 3 years application, software support experience gained within the finance sector
• Linux experience
• Scripting experience – Bash, Shell, Perl or Python
• FIX Protocol – FIX Connectivity experience
• Experience of SQL
