Application Support Analyst – Windows – SQL – London. 6 month contract - inside IR35. Highly successful electronic based hedge fund seeks to hire two individuals to join their applications team in London. The client is one of the most reputable hedge funds in London, with a large market share that has significantly invested in technology whilst continuing to do so. Opportunity to work with a number of real-time trading applications that include EMS, order management, OMS, buy-side applications. the Application Support Analyst will be working closely with front-office users so will gain excellent financial knowledge. 

The Application Support Analyst will:

• Support real-time trading applications
• Work closely with front-office users to improve trading experience
• be part of a number of new software implementation project initiatives that have started in 2019
• Take business queries and specifications and implement these into technology infrastructure
• Work and manage multiple projects
• Resolve major incidents and work closely with senior stakeholders to improve technical documentation
• Work closely with business analysts, developers and testing teams

The Application Support Analyst will need to have:

• 4 + years commercial Application support experience
• Experience supporting either buy-side or sell-side trading applications
  
• Experience of order management, portfolio management solutions
• Solid Windows Server experience
• Solid SQL server experience
• SSIS - SSRS experience. 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and liaise with senior business stakeholders

The client seeks an Application Support Analyst that can bring new ideas and research new technology that will improve the trading applications across the business.
