Senior Infrastructure Engineer – London. – Help create a DevOps environment. A technology driven Hedge Fund, with offices in Chicago and London, seeks to hire a Senior Infrastructure Engineer with demonstrable experience of leveraging automation technologies Chef, Puppet or Powershell to streamline operational processes across IT infrastructure, their aim is to introduce a DevOps environment during 2019. Great opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of working within the algorithmic trading sector, work closely with business users and using technology to trading improve speed.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will;

• Be part of a team undertaking operational based Infrastructure and automation projects – DevOps projects
• Design, configure and maintain IT infrastructure services across the business
• Manage Technology IT projects to support strategic goals
• Assist IT Infrastructure manager with growth of team
• Be hands on supporting high level infrastructure issues – Server and Automation related issues
• Develop and enhance IT security processes

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have:

• Proven operational infrastructure support/development experience –Powershell, Puppet, Chef - DevOps
• Extensive experience of Windows Server
• Linux Server infrastructure experience beneficial but not essential
• Azure
• Exchange Server
• Virtualization 
• VMWare
• Financial services experience is desirable but not essential
