Infrastructure Specialist - Windows - Linux - London. Miller Maxwell assisting a World leading High Frequency Trading business at the pinnacle quantitative trading. The HFT seek to expand their infrastructure engineering team with the need to hire an experienced Infrastructure Specialist as part of this expansion. The proprietary trading house is at the forefront of quantitative trading across global financial markets This is an outstanding opportunity for an individual to join a highly profitable proprietary trading.

The Infrastructure Specialist will:

• Work directly with traders on the trade floor
• Provide support for in house production systems
• Supporting and enhance Infrastructure environment
• Support Desktops, Server, Network technology
• Perform and report daily checks of in house systems
• Serve as the direct technical support for traders and exchanges

The Infrastructure Specialist should have:

• A degree in a STEM related subject
• Experience working across Windows and Linux environments
• Infrastructure support experience across; Desktops, Server, Networks
• Scripting experience with knowledge of one of the following: PowerShell, Python, Bash or Shell
• Willingness to work in a fast paced environment
• Problem-Solving capabilities
• Ability to multi task in fast paced environment
