IT Service Desk Manager - Applications based position within a Prominent FinTech brand seeks to expand their service desk team. The team work collaboratively with external clients being the focal point for resolving client technology related issues. The organisation has a notable brand already offering employees a relaxed environment like that of a media agency with attractive offices to work within.

The IT Service Desk Manager will manage the IT service desk team taking responsibility for first line support issues for client application issues. Great opportunity to join a respected and established company within the FinTech industry.

The IT Service Desk Manager will:

  • Manage service desk team supporting client application issues
  • Manage service desk projects and influence service desk procedures across the business
  • Provide leadership and technical authority for service desk personnel
  • Engage with senior management and IT heads to implement new strategy and systems are implemented.
  • Manage high priority incidents and manage high profile customers
  • Take responsibility for recruitment, training and develop technical skills of new analysts joining the team
  • Report writing and reviewing statistics for senior management

The IT Service Desk Manager will:

  • Have extensive service desk experience
  • Worked within an application-based environment
  • Experience of Linux or Windows environments
  • Experience of applications written in either Java or C#
  • SQL Server experience
  • Be ITIL certified

The IT Service Desk Manager will be able to influence projects, bring new ideas and research new technology that will improve the platform across the business. The organisation is investing significantly in technology across their business in 2019 and 2020.
