Senior Java Developer – MTF Platform – London. A Senior Java Developer is required to work as part of newly formed team designing, developing and managing a development team in Europe building a MTF Platform. This is a green-field platform working through the full life cycle. The client is a leading investment banking organisation part of a global investment bank which will see the Senior Java Developer involved in a major programme of work to introduce this new MTF platform within their product suite.

The Senior Java Developer will:

• Work in a greenfield development environment
• Work with System Architect to build-out platform
• Be involved through the full development life cycle of project
• Work with front office users to improve usage
• Lead a team of Java Developers
• Work with teams in different geographical locations to collaboratively delivery on global basis
• Be involved in deployment of new solutions

The Java Software Engineer will need to have:

• Proven Team Leadership experience
• Strong Java design and development experience
• Java NIO
• Experience building high performance – low-latency trading applications
• Worked with Java 6 and ideally Java 8
• Experience developing Enterprise systems
• Experience of TDD environments
