Infrastructure Engineer – London. – Windows – London - Global FX trading brokerage, one of the US’s largest electronic brokerages is expanding the London infrastructure team that has a keen interest to work with Azure and automation technologies. Opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of working within the FX trading sector, work as part of a cloud and automation based project s team that will have a major impact on the company.

The Infrastructure Engineer will;

• Provide 2^nd level infrastructure support for internal software environment and underlying systems
• Support internal users with 2^nd line issues
• Provide basic application support when required
• Support Servers, networks and virtualised environments
• Provide Data Centre support
• Be part of a new Cloud based project team assisting with the adoption of Azure / AWS technology

The Infrastructure Engineer will have:

• A degree in a STEM related subject
• At least 2 years commercial IT Infrastructure experience
• Windows Server
• Basic Linux experience
• Virtualisation
• Network support experience – TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF
• Active Directory
• VMWare
• Financial services experience is desirable but not essential
