Data Engineer – T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS, C#, SQL server - Miller Maxwell is working with an expanding FinTech seeking to hire a Data Engineer with strong problem solving, analytical and troubleshooting skills. An interesting opportunity working alongside some strong technologists to provide support and development for a high-performance market data platform used by blue-chip financial services organisations on a global basis.

The Data Engineer will:

• Support and develop a highly transactional market data platform
• Work on both database development and administration
• Provide integral support to database related maintenance
• Work alongside strong technologists
• The Data Engineer can be part of several projects within Cloud and Business Intelligence space.

The Database Engineer will need to have:

• A degree in a STEM related subject
• T-SQL experience
• Solid SSIS – SSRS experience
• Ability to write queries, functions and building stored procedures
• An understanding of performance tuning and monitoring
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and C# a plus
• Experience of data warehousing a plus

This FinTech organisation has been have been investing significantly across their technology teams during 2019 which will continue into 2020 and this is a good opportunity to be part of a number of brand new projects the Data Engineer can be part of.
