Infrastructure Engineer – Windows – Networking – London. No finance experience required as full training will be provided. A highly successful Asset Management organisation seeking to hire an Infrastructure Engineer for their expanding team in London. The organisation has circa £45 billion under management, with offices across the UK, employing over 2000 staff across 20 locations. The organisation has a number of business critical projects taking place during 2020 that that Infrastructure Engineer will be part of including, Cloud migration, and automation adoption. 

The Infrastructure Engineer will:

• Work on operation-based Infrastructure projects
• Provide 2nd line network support
• Provide BAU and chance requests from the business
• Take leadership on major IT escalations
• Infrastructure improvement including IT security
• Provide technical guidance to change and delivery teams
• Design, configure and maintain IT infrastructure services across the business
• Several key automation initiatives are taking place in 2020, the Infrastructure Specialist will be key to these projects
• Be hands on supporting high level infrastructure issues – Server and Automation related issues

• Proven infrastructure support experience
• Networking experience – BGP- OSPF, Multicasting
• Windows Server experience
• VMWare experience
• Experience or interest in Linux technology highly desirable
• Financial services experience is desirable but not essential
