Application Support Team Leader - London. Miller Maxwell has partnered with a growing FinTech business seeking to hire a Application Support Team Leader as part of this growing organisation. The organisation is a leading supplier of compliance, regulatory and risk technology platforms to corporate organisations across Europe. Their products are important business tools used by corporate business to improve business performance, manage risk and increase profits. 

The Application Support Team Leader will:

  • Manage deployment of software applications
  • Mentor and mange a team of Application Support Analysts
  • Work directly with heads of departments to strategise delivery of solutions
  • Liaise with development and infrastructure teams to implement future strategy
  • Maintenance of Setup and support test server environments
  • Monitor system health – use sophisticated techniques to resolve errors and outages
Application Support Team Leader should ideally have
  • A background in application - software support 
  • Experience mentoring and leading teams
  • Experience of a scripting language from; Powershell, Bash, Shell or Python
  • Experience working within Linux or- Windows environments
  • Exoerience working with software tools developed in either Java or C#
  • SQL Server experience

The Application Support Team Leaderwill have the opportunity to work as part of a new and expanding team where the adoption of new/innovative technology is growing day-on-day and the Senior Applications Support Analyst will be able to introduce, research and contribute of this already exciting technology stack.
