MillerMaxwell are assisting a market leading Asset manager who are looking to add to their core application support team in London. The client is one of the most reputable Wealth Managers in the market and is renowned for their technology investment, career development and working culture.

The Application Support Engineer will:

• ·Be responsible for providing first class BAU support
• ·Work closely with a range of front office and back office applications
• ·Provide application support to a large environment of professional associates
• ·Work on a range of both in-house developed applications as well as 3rd party applications

• ·Windows Server 2008/12/16
• ·Centos/RedHat/Linux
• ·SQL Server 08/12/14
• ·Scripting experience – PowerShell/Bash/Perl
• ·FIX Messaging
• ·Knowledge of Financial data/systems or data warehousing

• ·Able to adapt to new and changing technologies
• ·An excellent manager of time and personal organisation
• ·Able to demonstrate the ability to work effectively and efficiently both as part of a team and individually
• ·Able to demonstrate attention to detail whilst hitting critical deadlines

The client seeks an Application Support Analyst that can bring new ideas and research new technology that will improve the trading applications across the business. The Wealth Manager is investing significantly in technology across their business and there is scope to move into business analysis or architecture as the team develops.
