IT Support Analyst – Windows – Finance – Asset Management – London. Highly successful Asset Manager seeks to expand their infrastructure team in London.  This position would suit an IT Support Analyst seeking their 2nd position within their market maybe having spent time in a position for 1-2 years and looking to progress further into Infrastructure Support. All interviews will be conducted via video conference, remote onboarding and working from home. The opportunity provides in depth experience into a fast-paced wealth management environment.

The IT support analyst will:

  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support to all staff within the business – Desktop and 1st Line Infrastructure support.
  • Work closely with programme manager on a new agile technology project taking place across the busines.
  • Log phone, email and internal queries and resolve providing excellent customer service.
  • Windows and MS Office application support.
  • Office 365 support.
  • Undertake basic network and hardware support – Build Desktops and setup network cabling.
  • Work closely with all support base staff including 3rd line teams to ensure incidents are resolved quickly and effectively
  • Have the opportunity to work shift patterns, weekends and out of office hours during busy periods of the calendar year.

The IT support Analyst will need to have:

  • Ideally 2-3 years commercial 1st line support experience.
  • Desktop support experience.
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to work closely with users and senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent telephone manner able to work with company employees remotely.

Technical experience for the IT Support Analyst

  • Windows 7 – Windows 10 experience.
  • Active Directory.
  • Office 365.
  • SCCM.
  • IT Hardware experience.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP.
  • Basic Windows Server experience.
  • Keen interest in Cloud / Automation technologies.
  • Desire to learn Linux O/S.
