Application Support Analyst – UNIX – Scripting – Perl – Shell – Bash – Linux – Solaris – SQL – London. No finance experience required as full training will be provided. An experienced Application Support Analyst is required within the derivatives business area of this tier-1 investment bank. The Application Support Analyst will be working on the maintenance, support and enhancement of a real-time derivatives price matching system used globally across the investment bank. The Application Support Analyst will be give the freedom to manage projects, investigate and learn new technology (Python, Java) as well as working with front and middle office users.
The Application Support Analyst will need to have: 3-5 years commercial experience utilising: UNIX (Linux or Solaris), Scripting from Perl, Python, Shell or Bash. Knowledge of SQL and experience of FIX Protocol or FIX connectivity is highly beneficial.
The Application Support Analyst will experience working for an investment bank, support a global derivatives trading platform and work on a number of brand new projects starting in 2014.
