Trade Support Analyst - UNIX - Perl OR Python - London [City]. Miller Maxwell has partnered with a global derivatives exchange that seeks to recruit an experienced Trade Support Analyst in London. An excellent opportunity for a Trade Support Analyst to gain experience of exchange connectivity, trading and extensive derivatives asset class experience. The Trade Support Analyst will join an experienced, professional team responsible for application support, monitoring, troubleshooting low-latency trading applications, deployment, monitoring and resolving client trading issues.

The Trade Support Analyst will;

• Support real-time trading issues
• Work with vendors and external clients to resolve trading related issues
• Provide UNIX - Linux expertise
• Support Perl Scripts
• Monitor exchange connectivity issues
• Deploy environment monitoring solutions
• Implement software upgrades

The Trade Support Analyst will need to have;

• At least 2-4 years commercial trading, application or software support experience
• Strong UNIX - Linux experience
• Perl OR Python scripting experience essential
• SQL proficiency

Desirable skills for Trade Support Analyst:

• FIX Protocol - FIX Connectivity experience
• Apache, Tomcat, Python or JavaScript
• Derivatives asset class experience
