Trading Systems Analyst – Prop Trading – Market Maker – London – Unix – Linux – Windows - Scripting. Miller Maxwell is working with an expanding High Frequency Trading organisation expanding the European operations in London. They are a technically dynamic, highly profitable and renowned for their significant investment in technology. The Trading Systems Analyst will support Front Office Trading, Exchange Connectivity, Low-Latency connectivity and High Frequency Trading applications as part of a trader support team.

The Trading Systems Analyst can expect:

• Work with a dynamic technology stack including
• Support high frequency trading systems
• Gain extensive experience of Exchange and low-latency trading
• Work directly with High Frequency Traders
• Be involved in configuration, testing, installation and trade monitor
• To build trading reliability and improve trader experience
• Work closely with global exchanges building relationships
• Work closely with C++ Developers – Quantitative Traders

In return the Trading Systems Analyst will need to have:

• Excellent Unix – Linux experience
• Windows environment experience – Desktop – networking experience
• Scripting experience with one of the following: Powershell, Perl, Python, Shell, Bash scripting
• DevOps or Systems Administration experience
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• A keen interest in financial markets – Electronic Trading
• Experience of C++ - C# highly desirable but not essential – This is not a development position.
