Technical Security Engineer – Cloud – Azure – Remote position. Miller Maxwell is assisting a technology driven Hedge Fund, a forward-thinking business that provide employees with an innovative environment for them to flourish. They have a requirement for a, Technical Security Engineer to join their experienced security projects team delivering solutions across the business. Several unique projects are being undertaken around network automation and cloud security the Technical Security Engineer will be part of.

Tech Security, Automation and Cloud team delivering security hardening and improving cloud services across the business. This role offers the ability to work remotely and gain excellent experience working within a high reputable financial services firm.

The Technical Security Engineer will:

• Provide security guidance to relevant technology stakeholders.
• Assist with the review and improvement of documentations, systems and procedures within Technical Security domain.
• Support both third-party security test vendors and the penetration testing engagement with technology stakeholders.
• Be a subject matter expert of the technical security discipline.
• Assist both internal and external change projects.

The Technical Security should have:

• Around 5 years’ experience in a technical or operational security role.
• A network security background.
• Financial Services experience is not required but highly beneficial

• Azure Cloud Security experience – At least 1 year’ experience in Cloud security.
• Experience within the design and implementation of security solutions.
• Excellent networking knowledge.
• Strong knowledge and experience with the management of enterprise security products.
• Proven experience working within a Microsoft Security Stack environment.
