Automated Test Analyst –Remote working and interviewing in place. A hybrid working model will be in place from September this year.  Miller Maxwell is working with an established financial services software house and managed services provider who are looking to bring an Automated Test Analyst on board to work closely with the developers. You will be responsible for the development of automated test scripts pertaining to Information Security, both within software development and Managed Service hosting facility.

Automated Test Analyst Role Overview:

  • Development of automated test scripts.
  • Execution and maintenance of existing suite of automated scripts.
  • Report any issues found and monitor progress to manage software updates and error correction with developers.
  • Amend the automated scripts to reflect modified functionality.
  • Identify suitable manual test scripts and migrate into automation.
  • Improve testing standards and procedures across the company, by highlighting and implementing process improvements to test automation.

Automated Test Analyst Skills Required:

  • ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing qualified, with awareness of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Minimum 4 years testing experience Unit Testing, System Testing, User Interface Testing, Acceptance Testing and Integration Testing.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience of automated testing tools
  • Java - Python or JavaScript experience – Essential experience.
  • Keen interest in technology and advances in the field of automated testing.
