Lead QA Engineer – Automation – Python – Testing – London. Rapidly expanding trading venue and MTF, part of a global German conglomerate of companies seeks to hire a Software Quality Engineer who has experience with automation testing to join their growing development and QA team in London.  Their high-performance real-time price matching engine is the key to the success in the market and now control a significant proportion of exchange trades on a global basis in partnership with their Global German trading owner. A number of high-profile innovation projects are taking place during 2021/2022 that the Lead QA Engineer will be an integral part off.

Lead QA Engineer will have experience off:

·      Automation testing using command lines on Unix platforms

·      Creating automation test scripts using Python

·      Creation of test plans and traceability

·      Be responsible for the quality and stability of software releases for the trading venue

·      The maintenance and improvement of bespoke QA toolset

Lead QA Engineer skill Requirements:

·      5+ years’ experience testing on high performance production systems

·      Knowledge of financial systems is required for this position

·      Python Scripting experience is required for this position

·      Test automation and implementation experience

·      Lead and driven the direction of automation based project

·      The ability to deliver quality in a fast paced environment

·      Good time management skills and ability to get things done

·      Good verbal and written communicational skills

Desirable skills for the Lead QA Engineer:

·      Familiarity with Java

·      A very basic understanding and experience with PostgreSQL or SQL

·      Experience with financial protocols – (FIX, ITCH)
