DevOps Engineer - No previous financial services experience is required as full training can be provided - Remote / Hybrid working available. In our opinion this client is the number 1 in their field. The DevOps Engineers goal is to provide expertise that will dovetail their software engineering teams thirst to automation their entire infrastructure environment. 

The DevOps Engineer will:

  • Work closely with engineering teams to optimise platform performance and improve reliability. 
  • Monitor and observe platform and resolve technical issues promptly to control platform downtime. 
  • Take ownership of projects - new software releases and client change request 
  • Own JIRA tickets associated to DevOps team. 
  • Create and improve Python based reports. 
  • Maintenance an investigation of software bugs
  • Assisting team to resolve build/deployment issues
  • Monitor system health – use sophisticated techniques to resolve errors and outages. 

The DevOps Engineer will have:

  • A degree in STEM related subject.
  • Previous Systems Administration - Software Support or Technical Development experience. 
  • Proven Linux environment experience. 
  • Python - Shell Scripting experience. 
  • CI – CD pipeline experience - Desirable.
