Data Analyst– FinTech – Python – SQL – London – Hybrid working environment. Award winning FinTech, this disruptive and influential organisation within the equities community seeks to hire a Data Analyst for their expanding team in London. Working within an expanding team working closely with existing clients to improve their investment strategies through use of real-time data. The Data Analyst will become an integral part of an experienced team of AI professionals for this innovative and leading business.

The Data Analyst will;

• Work closely with internal teams to understand clients trading behaviours.
• Creating automated and ad-hoc reporting
• Actively monitoring and tracking client’s competitiveness in market.
• Impact and risk assessments of new products and new platform functionality.
• Work with data platform teams to create new data sources and automates processes.
• Maintain, improve and develop internal tools, systems and business processes as applicable

The Data Scientist should have:

• A degree in a STEM related subject.
• Commercial Python programming experience – Pandas – jupyter
• SQL experience.
• Experience of modelling, statistics and analysis.
• Tableau experience desirable.
• Financial services experience desirable but not essential.
• Statistical modelling knowledge.
• unstructured data sources, especially in areas such as images, speech and text data – desirable.
• Experience in Machine Learning – or ML related environments – desirable not essential.
