Senior Java Software Developer - This prominent FinTech brand seeks to expand their product engineering team with a view to hiring two Senior Java Software Developers with Java, API and Micro-services development experience. The team work collaboratively with other internal development teams, whilst being the focal point for technology innovation and new product development. The organisation has a notable brand already offering employees a relaxed environment like that of a media agency with attractive offices to work within.

The Senior Java Software Developer will:

• Work on the development of new products through the full development life cycle
• Work within lean and agile environment
• Work closely with internal development teams to expand and maintain existing platforms
• Work with product managers to assist with the growth of products
• Have the freedom to manage projects and mentor junior developers within the team

The Senior Java Software Developer will have:

• 5 + years software development experience
• Proven commercial Java experience
• Proven object-oriented design
• Micro-services experience
• TDD and/or Pair programming experience
• Solid web/Internet development experience

The Senior Java Software Developer will be able to lead projects, implement new technology and have the freedom to be able to suggest and implement new technology. Great working environment presently with a brand-new office opening at the end of the year. The FinTech offers flexible working and core hours 10:00am until 6:00pm.
