Technical Project Manager – London. Proven financial services experience - electronic trading environment experience is required. Hybrid working environment in place from September 2021, until then all work will be remote. Miller Maxwell is working with an International Brokerage seeks to hire an experienced Technical Project Manager to join their London based team. The client is an international equities brokerage, part of a larger international group.

The Technical Project Manager will:

• Manage multiple trading related software projects. 
• Ensuring delivery of multiple, concurrent, projects and releases on time, budget and to highest quality.
• Managing and delivering multiple software related projects.
• Undertake smaller project management of smaller network/infrastructure related projects.
• Provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Liaise with engineering, business (front office included) and Technology functions across the business.
• Manage project risks, issues, track and escalate issues when required.
• ·Set project milestones and produce KPIs on project progress.

The Technical Project Manager will need to have:

• A degree in a related subject: Finance, Economics, Computer Science.
• Experience working within the finance technology sector is required.
• At least 5 + years commercial software project management experience.
• It is essential to have experience of managing financial technology trading based projects. 
• Linux - Windows - Hardware - Software experience. 
• Scripting experience a big bonus – (Python – Shell)
• Any knowledge of infrastructure related projects beneficial.
• Excellent communication skills.
