Senior Web Developer – JavaScript - React – London. This role is 100% remote, but will require the Senior Web Developer to be based in the UK for compliance reasons. An award winning FinTech with a cutting-edge product which allows trading companies to analyse data from exchanges and banks to discover opportunities in the equity markets seeking to hire a Senior Web Developer. They are going through a phase of growth, having started only five years ago, they have received extensive financial backing and now have 400+ employees spread across 3 continents.  

The Senior Web Developer will be responsible for:

•  Design and development of user features
• Rapid prototyping using frameworks/mockups

• Influence and define development strategy for UI and UI architecture.
• Use TDD and BDD development techniques
• Working as part of an Agile team working closely with scrum masters, developers, DevOps and senior business stakeholders

The Senior Web Developer should have:

• Extensive experience developing web application
• React 16+ experience.
• TypeScript
• Experience working microservices/REST API’s
• Redux - Websockets experience.
• Conceptual understanding of UX / UI design process and development

The Senior Web Developer will work in an environment that is dynamic with a flat structure and will appeal to hands-on, positive individuals who are interested in being able to influence development strategy, implement new techniques and be part of a assisting with the growth of a UI development team.
